Heuristic Science
Explore what’s to come in learning about science! Students will touch on diversity, cycles, systems, energy, and interactions taught in later school years. Join the journey of pairing real-world heuristic application with the Singapore Science Centre exhibits to better equip your young ones in their pursuit of academic excellence.

Fee: $150 for 1 workshop, $280 for two workshops

Intensive Revision
Exam for SA1
Heuristic Science ​
In addition to P1-P2 content, students are enforced further to apply heuristic skills learnt, through demonstration and live practice! Utilise what is learnt and apply it to what MOE examinations test for in communicating facts, concepts,
and principles; to observe, classify, analyse, evaluate, and predict the world around us.

Workshop Duration: 3 hours

Fee: $150 for 1 workshop, $280 for two workshops
​
Schedule: Wednesday, 17 March - 10am to 1pm
Heuristic Math
Focuses on using Heuristic skills within topic-specific lessons. E.g Model Drawing in a fractions lesson.

Schedule: Thursday, 18 March - 10am to 1pm

Heuristic Math
Focuses on the application of the heuristic skills across a range of topics. E.g Practice the application of the Unit Transfer Method across a range of topic areas, such as fractions, whole numbers, decimals and percentages.

Intensive Revision
Exam for SA1
Heuristic Science ​
In addition to P1-P2 and P3-P4 content, students will focus on restructuring past revision practices into metacognitive shortcuts. Further emphasis on heuristic learning and application will be demonstrated and lectured in detail. Self-management, directedness, and motivation techniques will also be coached in preparing for PSLEs and further studies.
